Soccer Class

Kellin had his first soccer class yesterday! He has talked about playing "soccer" for a few weeks now, so I thought he would like the class. He was pretty shy at first, but then he started kicking the ball around.
Coach Gil teaches the class and he is a funny guy.He had all the kids laughing after a few minutes.

Kellin is waiting his turn to "dribble" the ball between the cones with coach Gil.
P.S. Kellin had to put on his yellow "soccer pants" for class!!

Cruise Vacation

OK, one more post to the blog. A couple of pictures from the cruise.

We went to New Orleans to catch the ship and spent the morning walking around Bourbon Street. We stopped off at a restaurant to have some lunch and Hannah had to snatch Kellin to come inside!

Kellin's first emergency drill. He didn't really like the life preserver very much. The crew was very understanding.

At the Mayan ruin Altun Ha in Belize.

Kellin enjoyed running around and climbing on the ruins.

After a very busy day sightseeing, Kellin had finally had enough! It was time to go back to the boat!

Easter

I'm VERY far behind in updating Kellin's blog! I'm starting with the Easter pictures. Kellin wanted to dye Easter eggs this year and he had a lot of fun doing it. He just thought that they were CANDY eggs!! And that they somehow morphed into chocolate eggs from the real ones! I should have snapped a shot of the look on his face when we cracked the egg open!

Dad showing Kellin how the whole egg dying thing works. It took a bit for him to leave them in the dye. But he got the hang of it! Some of them ended up a bit brown, because of course, they had to be dipped into ALL the colors!

Easter morning. The Easter bunny left a trail of eggs outside Kellin's room, in the living room and a few outside. After he found a couple of eggs and discovered what was inside, he got the hang of it. He just wasn't sure if he liked the money or the candy better. I think the candy won!

The Easter bunny hid a couple of presents outside before he left. Here Kellin finds a cash register to go with his new kitchen/grocery store! He loves the scanner and swiping the credit card.

Potty Training

OK, we are trying to get out of diapers and learn how to go on the potty chair! This picture is blurry for a reason. Kellin was sitting on the chair for a VERY short time and it's hard to get a shot of him sitting down. ("He's faster than shutter speed!", oh, that was bullet!) So, now we have a 2 minute sand timer and things, or is that time itself, have slowed down!!!

Wish us and Kellin good luck. (You may just get an M&M!)

kellin's new kitchen

Here Kellin is playing with his new kitchen that he recieved from Amma and Granddad for his birthday. He absolutely loves it! Sometimes we now have to "go to the grocery" before we go to daycare now that he has the cash register! (of course with it's own scanner and credit card swippy thing!)
Thanks Amma & Grandad!!

Kellin's 3rd Birthday Party

Mary, Kellin's daycare, and her daugther Emily came to the party. Hannah Wager is "hanging out" with Kellin here play a game of Ring Toss.

Kellin had his birthday party yesterday! We had a lot of fun. He invited the kids that he goes to daycare with and the kids in his play group.

In this picture, Kimberly, in purple, and her mom Karin & Lizajane and her mom Betsy are painting a project.

Kellin loves showing his friends his treehouse that dad built. We,ve added a phone, chalkboard, a pulley that brings up a bucket and the big boat steering wheel with the throttle controls.

Cooper Conrad and Kellin having some snacks before lunch.

The birthday boy blowing out his candles on his birthday cake. He loves blowing out candles, so I put more than 3 candles on his cake! It took him a while to get them all out!!
